1. Right to Erasure

Under Google Play Developer Policies and local privacy regulations, users of our mobile application and digital booking portal have the right to request the deletion of their accounts and associated personal information. We provide clear, straightforward paths to request data erasure.

2. What Data Can Be Deleted?

Upon submitting a data deletion request, you can request the erasure of the following records:

• Delete Account Profile: Your application username, login credentials, saved patient profiles, and booking history.
• Delete Contact Information: Your registered mobile phone number, email address, and home collection addresses.
• Delete Medical Data: Uploaded doctor prescriptions, clinical notes, and digital copies of diagnostic reports stored in our application server (Firebase Firestore/Storage).

Note on Healthcare Retention Mandates: Under national clinical guidelines in India, laboratories are legally required to retain diagnostic records and reports of medical tests for a minimum period (standardly 3 to 5 years, depending on biological sample category). Consequently, while we will immediately delete your digital portal profile, contact details, and application data, the physical/logical laboratory logs of actual testing will be archived and retained solely for regulatory compliance until the mandatory retention period expires.

3. Verification Process

To prevent unauthorized profile deletions and protect patient privacy, we require a verification check before purging data:

• Deletion requests submitted via the mobile application will require verification using a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number.
• Requests submitted via Email must be sent from the registered email address and must include a copy of a valid government-issued ID (e.g., Aadhaar card or driving license) matching the patient profile name.

4. Processing Time

Once your identity is successfully verified:

• Your app account and contact records will be disabled immediately.
• The data deletion process (removing metadata from active servers and Firebase storage) will be completed within 15 business days.
• You will receive a confirmation email or SMS once the erasure is complete.

5. How To Request Deletion

You can submit a data deletion request through the following methods:

• In-App Feature: Go to settings -> "Request Account Deletion" in the Android app.
• Via Email: Send a detailed deletion request to neelima26sachan@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Data Deletion Request - [Your Mobile Number]".
• Via Phone Support: Call our privacy helpdesk at 9506800711 during working hours (Mon-Sat, 8 AM - 8 PM).
